The Church has designated this year as
a Year of Prayer for Vocations. The Rosary
will be recited in the Sacred Heart Church
each morning during the month of October
for this intention at 9.30 am.
THE IRISH PILGRIMAGE TRUST
TRIP TO LOURDES, EASTER 2009
Applications are welcome from young people
with a physical disability or illness
(aged 9 – 18 years) or a learning
disability (aged 11 – 21 years).
Young adults between the age of 20 and
25 with a disability or illness are welcome
to apply. There are places for seriously
ill children under the age of 9 years
accompanied by a parent/carer. There is
no cost for the young person selected
to travel. Closing date for applications
is 31st October 2008. If interested, please

Lough Derg has been
offering One Day Retreats since 1992. These
appeal largely to older people, especially
those no longer able to make the traditional
Three-Day Pilgrimage, and to those who for
reasons of health or disability, have never
been able to visit Lough Derg.
