There will be a Station Mass in the Tattysallagh Upper area on Friday 19th March at 7.30 pm in the home of Geraldine McCarney, 15 O’Brien Park. There will be one in the Tattysallagh Lower area on Tuesday 23rd March at 7.30 pm in the home of Paddy and Dympna Cleary, 9 Tattysallagh Road.

What are your plans for this Lent: fasting, prayer or almsgiving? Why not nourish yourself more on God’s Word? Come along to the Pastoral Centre, Omagh each Monday of Lent and listen to the ‘Life to the Full’ DVD. A series of five sessions on each Monday of Lent starting on Monday 22nd February from 10.30 am to 12 noon is being offered.

The Footprints of God - A Retreat for Lent

Each Monday evening of Lent (beginning on Monday before Ash Wednesday), we will journey reflectively with Jesus as he makes his way to Jerusalem.
As we reflect on the journey Jesus took to Jerusalem, where he suffered and died for us, we grow in an understanding of the journey of our own lives and find nourishment and guidance for our pilgrimage through life.

Special Diocesan Mass

The Annual Diocesan Mass for those with special needs, and their families and friends, will take place in Saint Joseph’s Church, Galliagh, Derry on Saturday 24th April 2010. Bishop Lagan will celebrate the Mass. Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes

HOLY LAND PILGRIMAGE

A Pilgrimage to the Holy Land next year (dates not decided yet - probably early June) led by Fr Kevin McElhennon will, for 10 days, follow in the footsteps of Jesus, from Nazareth to the Sea of Galilee to Bethlehem and Jerusalem. This once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage will bring to life the people, places and stories of the Bible, and promises to be an enjoyable and enriching experience. Price: £1,190 (price may be less depending on numbers going and is fully inclusive - flights, hotels, breakfast & dinner each day, guide, full tours etc). If you are interested or thinking about going and would like to know more about the pilgrimage, come along to either of the information evenings this Monday (Oct 12) or Wednesday (Oct 14) in Christ the King Church, Strathroy at 8 pm (after 7.30pm Mass).

Lough Derg has been offering One Day Retreats since 1992. These appeal largely to older people, especially those no longer able to make the traditional Three-Day Pilgrimage, and to those who for reasons of health or disability, have never been able to visit Lough Derg.
